BHB Interim BassMaster Zack Messick

BHB Interim BassMaster Zack Messick

Summer’s here, the time is right…to fill y’all in on what’s going down in BHB-land.

First off, Mike is no longer in the band. He took a second shift job, and that’s not exactly conducive to practicing and playing shows. He was our first bassist, after a series of very discouraging flake-outs. A year and a half really passed quickly, and we all went through a lot of crazy stuff together. Most of the time, we had a lot of fun.  Mike is a super talented dude, and we wish him the best.  It would be a crime against humanity for him not to resume the successful career he once had in music, before we came along and side tracked it.

In the mean time, the very talented youngster Zack Messick has stepped up as our interim bassist.  Besides a penchant for slappin’ de’ bass (mon), Zack brings a love of all things sport, and wields a shiny new Political Science degree from UK. He’s a fine young egg, and we’re really having fun gelling with him musically.

We’ve got a few really cool (FREE!) gigs coming up this summer, including our first festival gig in Bowling Green. We plan on having a few new tunes polished up for your enjoyment. So come on out and enjoy them with us, eh?

It’s time for that chicken to go…
